Administering rule over those residing on the land-mass
called unified Deutschland. For my post-graduate dissertation on Person-Number Systems, I am trying to get a better understanding, than I currently have, of how the unified German agents have been administering the documentation and tracking of all East and West German taxpayers and non-taxpayers. What are the differences between the Person-Number System that the West German agents used and the Person-Number System that the East German agents used and how were these differences reconciled after the day the agents' decreed threir "unification"? What was the format and structure of the Person-Number administered by the West German agents? What was the format and structure of the Person-Number administered by the East German agents? Has each German taxpayer and non-taxpayer dwelling on the landmass called "unified Germany" since been re-issued a new Person-Number and a new Identity Card (with perhaps a new bar code and/or mag. strip and/or smart chip?) If so, "dann wie viel Geld hat diese Projekt kostet?" My gut would tell me "yes", that the new identity cards have already long since been issued. Oh, I don't know, let's just call it a hunch... Es ist klar: Das darf so nicht bleiben, daß ausgerechnet die Post die schlimme Teilung des Landes weiterhin manifestiert. Kurzum: Die neue fünfstellige Postleitzahl muß her. RE: 1948 Palestine/Israel - A Primer. Hi Mark! thanks for the response! BTW, I like the effect of your response being in ALL CAPS - like reading a news report coming over the wire. Back in 1983, I worked as photographer for my college newspaper and we had two wire machines in a closet with a window. They were loud and sloooow! And, if memory serves me correctly, they typed in ALL CAPS Courier. It was exciting watching these 3 foot high by 2 foot wide machines type out at - what was the baud rate back then? They just chugged and chugged a stream of off-brown paper all day and night. Sometimes, I would walk into the shrine and close the door, pick up the paper on the floor and hold it in my hands and read and smell it, then put it down and bend over and stick nose straight up to the keys and read and smell... and within a minute of entering... I was in another universe and thinking... "I am seeing this 'news' before other taxpayers are seeing this 'news'..." OH, AND I DID NOT KNOW, UNTIL NOW, THAT THERE WERE JEWS IN THE REGION BEFORE 1948.
