Burning (Taxpayers') Bridges: Agents Steel The Dedication Ceremony. For openers, you should know that taxpayer Helen Haugh has nothing against former Big Dig agent James Kerasiotes. True, Mr. "On Time, On Budget" was almost dragged out of the corner office by Masschusetts agents in handcuffs and chains for pretending he lost track of billions of Federal Reserve Note currency units in cost overruns. And yes, Jim will forever be remembered as the Big Dig's Big Pig. But hey, if the agents currently in-power want to invite him to the dedication of The Taxpayers' Bridge on Friday, taxpayer Helen Haugh doesn't care. What boils her blood is the explanation she read in Friday's Herald. In defending the agents' Kerasiotes invite, an agent spokesman was quoted as saying: "This is an all-agent-inclusive, historic dedication, much like The Taxpayers' Tunnel dedication, in which all participating agents. . . were invited.'' "All-agent-inclusive? . . . Like The Taxpayers' Tunnel? Why NOT all-taxpayer-inclusive?'' seething taxpayer Helen Haugh said. "That's what really drove me over the edge. My husband, Joe, is a taxpayer and an ironworker. Not only did he work on The Taxpayers' Tunnel for 2 years, he was the job foreman. "Joe never got invited to the dedication of The Taxpayers' Tunnel," Helen said. "Actually, on the day before the dedication, he was laid off the job with about 70 other guys. It's as if they didn't want any blue-collar taxpayers represented." Taxpayer Joe Haugh, who dwells on the landmass know as West Roxbury, has been "walking iron" for some 19 years in contract with a Union called 'Local 7'. His intimate involvement with the taxpayers' burgeoning skyline has enabled him to provide a good living for his wife and their seven sons (ages 3 to 20), and, has enabled him to provide many Federal Reserve Notes to the agents as "tax payments". Beyond that, Joe's vocation has filled him, and his family, with a very special pride of authorship. "The boys absolutely adore their father," Helen said. "They know every project he's worked on, because we've been to almost all of them. I have pictures of the boys with Joe at The Taxpayers' Tunnel." Of course, Helen has even more pictures of Joe and his boys, smiling from beneath their hard hats, as they stand upon the graceful steel beams that now span the Charles River Basin. As he did with The Taxpayers' Tunnel, taxpayer Joe Haugh went to work on the world's widest cable-stayed bridge from the very beginning. In fact, he was the 'Local 7' steward on The Taxpayers' Bridge project. "I wanted to be here," Joe Haugh said yesterday, "because I knew how special the job was going to be. Ones like this don't come along every day. For the next hundred years, taxpayers will talk about this as a landmark . . . something really beautiful. All the taxpayers who worked the bridge felt like that." As five of his sons tossed a football in the morning solitude of Paul Revere Park, just off Charlestown's City Square, Joe Haugh focused his gaze on the splendor of those soaring concrete spires, so elegantly linked by sinewy threads of white steel cable. "Each road girder weighs between 35 and 40 tons," he said, never looking away from the bridge. "They are 135 feet long, about nine feet deep. I had a crew of 39 ironworker taxpayers, with about 150 tradesman taxpayers. We had these two phenomenal crane operators, taxpayers Mike Kerr and Pam Whitcum. The crane was set on a barge in the middle of the river. It was incredible the way it all came together.'' For Joe, the experience of building this majestic bridge became so personal it was almost spiritual. Before it had a formal name of The Taxpayers' Bridge (In Honor Of The Taxpayers Who Funded It And Built It), those who built it referred to it as "The Joe Haugh Bridge." When asked if he planned to attend the agents' official dedication this Friday - without an official agent invitation - Joe let a weak smile go. "No, I don't think so," he said softly. "Normally, the taxpayers who do the actual building get ignored at times like these," said Jay Hurley, president of the Ironworkers District Council of New England, "especially on agent-works projects. A developer like taxpayer Bob Kraft, he couldn't do enough for us. He was actually grateful for what we did. But here, well, there's just too many middle agents, I guess." And you can be sure that all of the agents that were invited will show up on Friday with their embossed invitations, looking for a souvenir. Not to worry. When it comes to dedications that mean something, Joe Haugh has already known a couple. When his crew of ironworkers finished their job, Haugh gathered what was left from a workers' pool and treated his men to a luncheon feast in the North End. Finally, there was Taxpayer Father's Day, 2001 . . . and the plaque Joe's wife and seven boys proudly presented to their No. 1 ironworker. "For three years, he lived that job," Helen Haugh said. "In time, all taxpayers of the world will call this bridge The Taxpayers' Bridge and they will talk of how on October 4th, 2002, the agents stole the dedication ceremony. And in this one house, we will always know it as Daddy's bridge . . . 'The Joe Haugh Bridge.'" 9.29.2002
Ousted Big Dig Agent Invited to Taxpayers' Bridge Dedication. Controversial former agent of the taxpayers James Kerasiotes, who resigned from office two years ago after failing to disclose book keeping entries evidencing cost overruns equating to over 1,000,000,000 Federal Reserve Note currency units, will be one of the agents on hand next week at the gala dedication of The Taxpayers' Bridge. The agents in-power have just recently invited him to stand proud with them "on the deck." Kerasiotes, who once favored selling the naming rights to the stunning new span across the Charles River, was reluctant to discuss the matter yesterday, saying he just wants to be a "regular taxpayer." But he admitted he'll be attending the event. "I was honored to get the invitation [by the agents] and I'm looking forward to getting on the bridge deck," said Kerasiotes, adding that he hopes his appearance doesn't turn into a "sideshow." The current Big Dig agent's spokesman said Kerasiotes was just one of many former agents instrumental to the Big Dig to receive invitations. "This is an all-agent-inclusive, historic dedication, much like The Taxpayers' Tunnel dedication, in which all agents who participated, . . . were invited,'' said the Big Dig agent's spokesman. Kerasiotes, whose mantra of "on time, on budget" helped turn the Big Dig into the butt of jokes of US taxpayers after the price tag soared and delays mounted, has maintained a low profile since being dethroned as Big Dig agent. But Big Dig agents don't expect his appearance to cause a distraction. "I'm sure the other agents will receive him in a highly professional manner," said the agent's spokesman. "I don't want the agents to take away from the US taxpayers, the Massachusetts Taxpayers, and the Boston Taxpayers, nor, from the memory of all the taxpayers who died in all the agent orchestrated wars." While still the subject of a probe by US agents - in which the US agents have reportedly recommended "taxpayer complaints" be filed against him and other key agents - few are begrudging Kerasiotes his invite. "Why not?" said a Big Dig agent, a frequent critic of Kerasiotes. "I'm no fan of Jimmy Kerasiotes . . . but why should he be castigated by us [agents] any more than the other former Massachusett agents serving with him at the time (Bill Weld, Paul Cellucci, Jane Swift)? "They all knew the currency unit book keeping entries, so why should Kerasiotes be the black sheep of the agents?" 9.27.2002

The Taxpayers' Bridge Walk Set For Dedication. Responding to the Boston taxpayers' apparently bottomless interest in The Taxpayers' Bridge, the agents for the Massachusetts taxpayers announced on Wednesday that they will stage a series of taxpayer events next month that will culminate with a five-hour walk across The Taxpayers' Bridge, complete with ribbon-cutting ceremony. The walk will take place from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 6. The walk will be the second to take place on The Taxpayers' Bridge this year. About 200,000 taxpayers showed up to walk The Taxpayers' Bridge on Mother's Day, and about 600,000 showed up to walk thru The Taxpayers' Tunnel on August 25th. "This will be the last major taxpayer walk across The Taxpayers' Bridge. We will be opening it up to taxpayers with cars soon after that," said an agent. "Due to the success of the Mother's Day walk and the tunnel walk, we are hoping to climax and end all taxpayer events before opening up, so taxpayers should really take advantage of this." The Taxpayers' Bridge is scheduled to open to Taxpayers in Cars on Tuesday, Dec. 10th, but the agents said delays of up to six weeks are possible. Several events will lead up to the walk as the agents prepare to open major portions of the 14,600,000,000 Federal Reserve Note unit project. The dedication weekend will begin Friday Oct. 4th at 8 a.m. with a "Youth Taxpayer Congress" and march on the landmass of Charlestown, where roughly 1,000 teenage taxpayers and soon-to-be taxpayers will learn about stuff talked about at The Taxpayers' Bridge Dedication Ceremony of June 3rd, 2001. At 9 a.m., a one-hour nondenominational prayer service will take place at St. Francis de Sales Church, at 313 Bunker Hill St. on the landmass of Charlestown. The service will include music by a fife and drum corps and a candle-lighting ceremony. At 12:15 p.m., agents for the Boston taxpayers, agents for the Massachusetts taxpayers, agents for the US taxpayers will officially dedicate The Taxpayers' Bridge as "The First Bridge In The World Named In Honor Of The Taxpayers Who Funded It!". A 250-member taxpayer choir specially assembled for the event, the Children's Bridge Festival Chorus, will perform. Boston agents said they also hope to line up a brief performance by rock star Bruce Springsteen, who is a friend of the US taxpayers and a US taxpayer himself and who will be playing at the FleetCenter that night. 9.18.2002
The Code of Terra Libra. Click here for an important Humans Rights update. The Terra Libra Code was created by Frederick Mann (Buildfreedom.com) in 1993. Your comments and suggestions for improvement will be appreciated. This "code" seems to me, to be much, much better, than the "Bill Of Rights of the US Constitution". (1) Free Sovereign Citizens own their own lives, minds, bodies, and labor, and may do with them anything that doesn't violate the equal rights of others. This principle of individual sovereignty or self-ownership is the foundation for all legitimate property. (2) Free Sovereign Citizens have the right to own property, which consists of all possessions acquired without coercing others. They respect the equal right of others to own property, which forms the basis for productive and cooperative human relationships. (3) No individual, group, or majority has the right to initiate or threaten force, fraud, violence, or theft against Free Sovereign Citizens or their property. (4) Free Sovereign Citizens have a right to choose whether to communicate or associate with others. These rights of speech and privacy follow directly from the principle of individual sovereignty or self-ownership. (5) Free Sovereign Citizens have the right to associate with others and to enter into agreements and contracts. For a contract between Free Sovereign Citizens to be valid, it needs to be entered into knowingly, voluntarily, and intentionally. (6) Free Sovereign Citizens have the right to produce and exchange property, and to own the products of their labor and thought. No individual, group, or majority has a right to the labor, ideas, production, or property of a Free Sovereign Citizen, or any part thereof, without prior consent or agreement. (7) Free Sovereign Citizens have the right to defend and protect themselves and their property against coercive aggression, and to contract with others to assist them. The authority of voluntarily-chosen agents to defend or protect Citizens and/or their property is strictly limited to that defense or protection. (8) Free Sovereign Citizens consider a crime to occur only when there is a damaged person or property. Therefore, there is no such thing as a "victimless crime," and no Free Sovereign Citizen can commit a crime simply by disobeying the arbitrary rules of tyrants or coercive organizations. (9) To be legitimate, courts and trials must be based on voluntary association and agreement, rather than on coercion. However, anyone who infringes on the person or property of another may be subject to a requirement for restitution by the damaged person. (10) Free Sovereign Citizens recognize that social order and cooperation develop spontaneously in the absence of coercion. They also recognize that leadership by example and productive effort is more beneficial than leadership by force, violence, compulsion, or fear. (11) The principles stated in this Code apply to all Free Sovereign Citizens without regard to age, race, religion, philosophy, background, birthplace, geographic location, gender, or sexual preference. (12) For a right to be valid its exercise may not impose a positive obligation on another; it only depends on others not taking coercive actions. Free Sovereign Citizens respect the equal rights of other Citizens, and therefore do not expect others to contribute to their interests, except through voluntary transactions or contributions. Here is my re-write: (1) Individuals own their own lives, minds, bodies, and labor, and may do with them anything that doesn't violate the equal rights of others. Pre-Imptive Memorial Project (or: PiMP). Dear US taxpayers: If memory serves me well, a few months ago, I heard US taxpayer reporters quoting certain US agents, something to the effect that "it is not a matter of if but WHEN". ![]() A pretty ominous utterance, don't you think? Especially if the NEXT massacre will result in a greater number of US taxpayers killed than in the 9-11 massacre. Well then I guess we, as bloggers and blog readers, might able to gain some sense of mental control by building the next memorial, now, for the next massacre in advance of the next massacre. What do you say? We can start doing it immediately on-line, through our blogs, comment boxes, and webpages. For example, we can standardize our pre-Imptive memorial sayings, by adopting a common format - how about this format? PiMP: Followed by a pre-Imptive memorial statement in italic. ...let's put PiMP on the Daypop Top 40 map. Here is my first PimP: Remember how now,... PiMP: Remember how now, the National ID card is mandatory when traveling (ever since the smallpox outbreaks started)? Hello? Don't leave home with out it or else?! Meaning those who are US taxpayers - but not US Citizens (a totally otherwise un-necessary abstraction, but which becomes very useful within a Nationl ID card context), and, those who are US taxpayers - and also US Citizens - better not be caught traveling without their green card or passport or national ID card on them when encountering US agents at the US agents' now permenant checkpoints (especially around those smallpox hot centers). 9.14.2002
Hello Fellow Free Human Beings! Dateline: March 11, 2000 11.09 AM ET A post from an internet message board written two and a half years ago: The following is an excerpt of a post entitled "Hello fellow free human beings!". Some of the comments to that post will be re-posted in the comments section located at the bottom of this re-posting. I was inspired by the sonic memorial. +++start+++ "When I was a teen, possibly younger, an odd idea occurred to me: if there are no police present where I am, then there is no "Law" there. I considered myself rather clever, and often delighted in pointing this out, often in the context of humor. Many laughed with me, but just as quickly said that it wasn't really true, that things don't really work that way. Of course, I knew that they were right, but I still had a feeling that something about the idea was in some (deep) sense even more right. [...snip...] Before I [go]... I'd like to tell two brief stories which seem to me relevant to the topic of this list. (1) A couple of years ago, a friend and I were driving around in the backcountry of the California desert near the border. We saw a guy who seemed to be in pretty bad shape, overheated, labored breathing, dehydrated, so we stopped to help. A few of his buddies who were hiding in the bushes came out when we stopped, and it turns out they were "Mexicans" who'd "illegally" crossed the border a couple of days ago. They offered my friend, the driver, $1000+ if he would drive them to Los Angeles, and so we went. When I told a friend of mine at work about this, the first words out of her mouth was that she really should report this to the "authorities"! This apparently was a 'reflex' thought, and she decided not to report the driver, who was also a friend of hers. Meanwhile, my friend the driver has been harassed and questioned on a number of other occasions simply because he's "hispanic" (in the country "legally") and was alone in the mountains or desert (he loves being out there in nature). So, where was "the law" or "government" in this scenario? [In] the first place[,] it seems to have almost appeared in the mind of my co-worker. If she had been just a bit more brainwashed, or if the driver hadn't been her friend, she might well have reported him, men with guns might have pulled him over in his car or broken down the door of his apartment, and forcibly taken him to a jail cell, forced him to submit to the talking and judgment of people who wanted to lock him jail for a long time or force him to give up a significant portion of his savings, etc. (2) About a decade ago I let my grass grow very tall around my house in a suburban neighborhood. I loved to hear the wind through it ... it was almost like living on the prairie :-). Evidently, one of my neighbors (or more) didn't at all like the look of that grass, and when it started to dry, she didn't come to me about it, but called the Fire Dept. and reported me. Two guys dressed in uniforms came out, poked around my place (without my permission), scratched something on a little piece of paper, and shoved it in my door frame. They wrote that I had one month to cut the grass (hmmm, if it were really a serious fire hazard, one might think they'd have cut it themselves right then! :-), or else I would "be required" to pay a fine of $100. Strange... I didn't feel like playing their game, so I cut the grass. Again, where was "government" in this scenario? Not in the grass growing free and tall, not in me ... it seems to have started in the head of my neighbor, and got transferred to the heads of the two guys who came to my place ... and then finally perhaps to me who complied. I'm looking forward to the discussions and ideas presented on this list, and I hope to learn more of what has already become intuitively clear to me in general." +++end+++ *Ed. Post-9-11 New World Orders... Here's one: Guns, Gold, And Killing The Karamojong (on the landmass of Uganda). 9.8.2002
On War And The Taxpayers. "Naturally the taxpayers don't want war: no taxpayer in the world wants war. That is understood. But, after all, it is the agents of the taxpayers who determine what they shall do and it is always a simple matter to drag the taxpayers along, whether the agents procliam to be a 'democracy', or a 'fascist dictatorship', or a 'parliament', or a 'communist dictatorship'. Voice or no voice, the taxpayers can always be brought to the bidding of the agents. That is easy. All you have to do is tell the taxpayers they are being attacked, and denounce and threaten those who utter 'no war' for having 'lack of patriotism' and for 'exposing', by their utterenses, all the taxpayers to danger. It has always worked this way throught all of history and will continue to work tis way, without fail." --Hermann Goering* at the Nuremberg Trials. *Ed. Note - I guess if anyone would be a 'certified expert' in orchestrating war, it would be him. 9.6.2002
Gookie Watch. Lookie, Google Cookie ...and the 'Patriot Act'? "power, and all that, that's power, we got so much power, that's ridiculous." By pass it here. Have your cake and eat it too. 9.4.2002
The Tranzis. "The word 'Tranzi' nicely evokes the ideology it represents. It has a nasty, sneaky sound, like Commie or Nazi. And, like those earlier words, it is easy to say and remember." "Fonte may have stated the obvious. And Carr merely thought up a nickname. But together, they have sparked a debate that even now may rouse some taxpayers to ask, 'Want types of agent-taxpayer 'contracts' have I entered into?'" 9.3.2002
