From Inside The Green Almond.

Controlling their 200-plus flavors of fiat currency units from inside the green almond on the land mass called Basel: The men who call themselves 'The Bank For International Settlements'.

There is not a whole lot of press activities about these humans, hence "BIS" is not a "household name"... There is nothing about the BIS building that indicates it is the most important bank and building on the planet. When the annual two-hour BIS meeting is held at the BIS building, those who "minister" the top ten fiat currency unit flavors walk to the BIS building from their nearby hotels.

Once you enter the front doors of the BIS building, you are confronted with two sets of glass doors that are circular. The only way to go beyond them is to have permission from the guard. Those who enter are escorted at all times. In order to be admitted to the middle of the circular doors, the two back glass panels slide open to let you in. When you are in the middle they close and the two front glass panels then slide open to allow you to enter into the tower where the offices are. Because it is rather unique, a fellow reporter remarked, "Masonic looking isn't it."

...Only once in all the years of holding annual meetings have the staffers at the BIS building given a tour for taxpayers such as me. Of the various meetings rooms, two stand out: The special room where the "Group of Ten" fiat currency unit "ministers" meet which has a round table positioned in the middle of the room with some kind of round halo hanging from the ceiling over it, giving the impression of the "Knights of the Round Table". Then there is the "green" room which is shaped like an almond, reminding you of an "eye" because of its shape and color. I gasped when I first entered the room, for the illusion could not be missed.

Digging into Unga Island.

Apollo Consolidated Gold Mining Company, 1947 report.

There are at least two veins - the East and the Center - that have been opened at various intervals along the strike for something over 4000 feet, with a third one 400 feet to the east that has been cut in three places over a length of 2400 feet. Over a vertical range these veins have been proven to contain ore for 1400 feet from the highest known point to the lowest. The known shoots very in width from 8 to 40 feet with an average of probably about twelve - a nice stoping vldth. Considering the most northerly proven ore on the Sitka to the most southerly proven on the California, the known length is in excess of 10,000 feet of probable ore being ground. In such a block - 10,000 feet long by 12 feet wide by 1000 feet deep - assuming only fifty percent ore for one vein, ignoring the known three, there could be an expectancy of 6,000,000 tons.

This is the book report if you need to get you up to speed about the landmass called Unga.

Stay up to date. Read the Unga Alaska blog.

Gold Is (Currently) Not Money...

for those taxpayers currently dwelling on the landmasses called "the west".

The above is my interpretation of part of what the article below is saying.

This article, 'The Re-Monetization of Gold', by Gary North is worth reading twice. Read it slowly the second time. This is an article that will make you think.

Here is a snip of a part of the article:

[Quote] "I realize that old-time gold bugs go around saying 'gold is the only true money' and similar slogans. These slogans reflect a lack of understanding of either gold or money. They are comforting slogans, no doubt, for someone who bought gold coins at twice the price that they command today, and held them for a quarter of a century at no interest while all other prices doubled or tripled. If he had instead made down payments on rental houses, he would be a whole lot richer. But the fact is, gold is not only not the only true money, it is not money at all. When you can walk into Wal-Mart and buy whatever you want with a gold coin or gold-denominated debit card*, then gold will be money. Not until then.

~snip~

Money* [Federal Reserve Note fiat currency units?]** is the most marketable commodity. Gold* is not the most marketable commodity [today]** [marketable is defined in the article]**. Given the lack of retail outlets where you can buy and sell gold, it is not even remotely money. Unless you are a central banker, gold is not money for you." [End quote]

Ed. Note: - * = Emphasis added. ** = my edit/comment.

OK, Gary, then you must mention, somewhere within your article, whether digital gold currencies, such as e-gold, are money or not. I mean today, I can go to Gold-stores.net (where the back-end is Amazon.com), order some entertainment CDs, pay online using e-gold, and the order will be shipped to my door.

Not stating whether digital gold currencies are "money" or not, flaws the article.

Project Hammer.

Covert Finance And The Parallel Economy.

During the course of his deposition, General Cocke was asked if he knew who "created" Hammer "to begin with". He admitted that he didn't know and was even reluctant to make a guess, but added that whoever set it in motion "had to have been somebody at a pretty high level". He then made the interesting observation that whoever it was who had authorised it, "the original structure" had "obviously got way out of proportion as time went by". The implication was that some of the money -- the fallout -- got diverted from its original intention.
