Time To Stop Ignoring Digital Gold Currencies.

Any subsequent "Is Gold Money?" debates had better factor in ones position on Digital Gold Currencies or appear sorely lacking in ones argument, yea or nay.

"While fiat currency units - issued by agents in charge of taxpayers - will no doubt remain in circulation as a residual medium of exchange for the poor and computer-illiterate, money for high-value transactions will be privatized. Cybermoney will no longer be denominated only in agent-fiat-units like the fiat paper currency units of the industrial period. It probably will be defined in terms of grams or ounces of gold, as finely divisible as gold itself..." - James Davidson, 1997.

It is time to completely reframe the "Is Gold Money?" debate and do so around articles like this:

"Converted into bits..., gold once again becomes a viable -- some would say vastly superior -- kind of money."

The US agents cannot prevent enhancement
 of the Chinese agents' influence
arising from the process of 'economic growth' -- though the US agents
 should devise 'rewards and penalties'
to channel it into directions that serve the US agents' interest.
