Dear e-dinar user,

We sincerely apologize to all of our users that the e-dinar application has not been available for several days due to a serious hardware failure which made it necessary to replace the server and to reinstall the application. Please rest assured that the hardware failure did not impact data or running transactions which are safely stored in the e-gold database.

Although we work closely with e-gold to bring the server back online as soon as possible, we cannot guarantee when this is will happen. In the meantime we ask all of our users to execute their transactions through the e-gold website [via BlackMaketGold's e-gold promotion page (shameless plug!)] and to perform their In- and Outexchanges through omnipay at www.omnipay.com.

Diplomatic Bags.

"The contents of diplomatic bags are restricted to diplomatic documents and articles intended exclusively for official use and packages constituting the diplomatic bag must bear visible marks of their character. Diplomatic bags shall not be opened or detained nor shall they be subject to duty or entry."

Former president of the Chamber of Mines, Rodney Banks, said recently he believed diplomatic bags were being used to ferry chunks of gold to certain agents.

There are also known cases of Indian antiques being smuggled out in diplomatic bags and the Central Bureau of Investigation is unable to proceed for fear of starting up a diplomatic row.

In what is considered as one of the most blatant instances of misuse of diplomatic channels, the Customs Department seized diplomatic bags, containing 100 kg of gold biscuits ... from a Singapore Airlines flight at Chennai airport...

A 1994 expos of the Canadian UKUSA agency, Spyworld, co-authored by one of its former staff, Mike Frost, gave the first insights into how a lot of foreign microwave interception is done (see p. 18). It described UKUSA "embassy collection" operations, where sophisticated receivers and processors are secretly transported to their countries' overseas embassies in diplomatic bags and used to monitor various communications in foreign capitals.

A BBC documentary on a major US Federal Reserve Note fiat currency unit forging operation named Seán Garland, leader of the Workers Party, as a leading figure in the conspiracy. It is claimed that the forged US Federal Reserve Note fiat currency units are transported around the world in the diplomatic bags of North Korean agents.

His remarks are the latest round in a war of words between Zimbabwean agents and British agent over the land issue and an incident in which Zimbabwean agents forcibly opened diplomatic bags. British agents recalled its high commissioner (ambassador), Peter Longworth, over the diplomatic bag incident earlier this month. When Longworth returned he described Zimbabwe's actions as "a grave and unprecedented breach" of the Vienna Convention and also hit back at charges that London takes a racist colonial view of land reforms in the country.

There is an amount of anecdotal evidence that diplomatic bags are used to transport diamonds. There is similar evidence that essentially unnecessary diplomatic accreditation is used by some in the diamond smuggling business. It would be useful for the diamond industry if Sierra Leone agents could exempt diplomatic status from issues connected with the export of diamonds.
